your doctor ever justified? What can be
done to help make the doctor/patient relationship more open and honest? Do lies (often white lies) that doctors tell patients exacerbate the situation?

If you really look at his life and teachings carefully, might
Muhammad be a good model for how to treat women with dignity and
respect? Do you believe that religions
(like Islam) have good ideas at their beginnings, which are then corrupted by
culture? Or do you believe that religion
is a bad place to look for models and inspiration in terms of how to make
our world a better place?

How much of
a problem is it that countries tend to deny their own faults and
exaggerate the faults of neighboring countries as the author seems to claim
that Canada does in regards to the US?
Does "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" sound better or worse
than "Peace, Order, and Good Government" as a goal? Does the latter too often end up as an excuse
for (racist) authoritarianism?
